Speaking on behalf of the racecourse i would like to thank everyone who attended and made this such a special event.
I have spoken with the Festival Organiser this morning and given my backing to the dates for 2013.
The cleanliness of the site was remarkable. It is actually difficult to spot any litter!
The friendly atmosphere is wonderful. I brought my 8 year old on Sunday and he loved it. Everyone is so kind and chilled. A fantastic family festival without any signs of drunken behaviour.
The highlights for me were Saturday afternoon performances by Mike Peters (who i last met 28 years ago!) and Glenn Tilbrook and Sundays performance from Rusty Shackle (a band with a big future)
Thank you to all who attended and respected our lovely racecourse and it's surroundings - we would love to welcome you all back next year. David McDonald Uttoxeter Racecourse General Manager
P.S. Have just driven around the centre course and there is not one piece of litter left and all equipment , skips and tents have gone.Makes all the difference when people respect the venue.

Sergeant Ian Cantrill, of Uttoxeter Police, said: “It was a good event. Officers were down there every day and people were in great spirits. There was a great atmosphere and people were enjoying the weather.”

"It was our first visit to your fab festival. We just turned up on the Friday and got a weekend camping ticket. Absolutely loved it! The crowds were amazing, our fellow campers always had a smile and a hello. We 'discovered' some amazing bands over the weekend and the cd's we bought are still making us smile. We have told our friends and it looks like there will be quite a few of us camping with you next year. Thanks for a real treat of a weekend!" Shirl Cooper

New home starts reach fresh low - government figures

To Let signs With the population growing and few new houses being built, the demand for homes to rent is rising
The number of homes started by house builders in England has fallen again, to the lowest level for three years.
Government figures show only 21,540 new homes were started by builders in the three months to June this year.
That was 24% down on the same period a year ago and a 10% drop from the first three months of the year.
Meanwhile, the average rent paid by private tenants in England and Wales reached a new high point in July, of £725 a month.
The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) said: "Starts are now 54% below their December quarter 2005 peak, but 27% above the trough in the March quarter of 2009."
'Frustrated first-timers' The dearth of new housing, allied to the rapidly growing population and continued rationing of mortgage funds for first-time buyers, has been a key factor behind the relentless upward trend in the cost of being a tenant.
The letting agency group LSL said average rents rose by 1% last month.
That was the fourth monthly rise in a row, putting them 2.9% higher than a year ago.
LSL said rents were rising fastest in London and the South East, with the average rent in the capital now at £1,057 a month.
"The backlog of frustrated first-time buyers in the private rented sector showed no sign of clearing in July - in fact, it is still growing," said David Newnes, of LSL.
"As lending to those without substantial deposits remains depressed, demand for rented accommodation can only go one way in the long-term - providing further upward momentum for rents.
"The rental market is also entering its summer peak, as recent graduates and those with new jobs begin to look for new accommodation," he added.
More renters With mortgage lenders now typically asking borrowers to put down a 20% or 25% deposit, many would-be home buyers have been in effect locked out of the home-buying market.
As a result, many are still being forced to rent a flat or house when, ideally, they would have bought one in the past few years.
This has led to constant upward pressure on the demand for rented housing at a time when house building has been in the doldrums.
The effect of all this has been that the level of owner occupation has been dropping since 2005, after reaching a peak of 70.9% in 2003.
Figures earlier this year showed that owner occupation had fallen to 66% of all households in England, which was back to the level of 1989.
Meanwhile, the proportion of households renting their homes from private or public-sector landlords had increased, to 34% of households.

Julian Assange: Ecuador asylum decision criticised

Julian Assange Julian Assange said Ecuador's decision was a "historic victory"
The UK and Sweden have criticised Ecuador for granting political asylum to Julian Assange as the diplomatic row over what to do with him intensifies.
The Wikileaks founder took refuge at Ecuador's London embassy in June as he faced extradition to Sweden over sexual assault claims, which he denies.
The UK has said it will not allow him safe passage out of the country.
Ecuador's Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino said he hoped talks with the UK would "overcome this".
He told BBC Mundo the UK should respect Ecuador's "sovereign decision" otherwise "we will use the alternatives under international law to demand the safe passage".
"We don't think it is reasonable that, after a sovereign government has made the decision of granting political asylum, a citizen is forced to live in an embassy for a long period," he added.
Ecuador says Mr Assange's human rights might be violated if he is sent to Sweden to be questioned over allegations that he sexually assaulted two female ex-Wikileaks volunteers while he was in Stockholm to give a lecture in 2010.
The Wikileaks website has published a mass of leaked diplomatic cables that embarrassed several countries, particularly the US.

It is unacceptable that Ecuador would want to halt the Swedish judicial process and European judicial co-operation”
Sweden foreign ministry spokesman Anders Joerle
The 41-year-old Australian citizen, who claims the sexual contact was consensual, says the allegations against him are politically motivated and he fears that, if extradited to Sweden, he will then be passed on to US authorities.
'Negotiated solution' Mr Assange said that while Ecuador's decision was "a historic victory, our struggles have just begun", adding that "the unprecedented US investigation against Wikileaks must be stopped".
The UK Foreign Office says it remains committed to reaching a "negotiated solution" but following its obligations under the Extradition Act, it would arrest Mr Assange if he left the embassy.
UK Foreign Secretary William Hague said there was "no legal basis" to allow Mr Assange safe passage out of the country and warned that the case could go on for a "considerable" time.
In a statement issued after the Ecuadorean decision, Mr Hague said "With Mr Assange having exhausted all options of appeal, the British authorities are under a binding obligation to extradite him to Sweden...

"It is important to understand that this is not about Mr Assange's activities at Wikileaks or the attitude : 'Assange fears legitimate'of the United States of America. He is wanted in Sweden to answer allegations of serious sexual offences."
Ecuador had described as a "threat" a UK letter that drew attention to the Diplomatic and Consular Premises Act 1987, which would enable it to potentially lift the embassy's diplomatic status to allow police to enter the building to arrest Mr Assange for breaching his bail terms.
However, the Foreign Office later said the letter's purpose was intended to clarify "all aspects of British law that Ecuador should be aware of" and it favoured a "mutually acceptable solution".
Sweden foreign ministry spokesman Anders Joerle said it was "unacceptable that Ecuador would want to halt the Swedish judicial process and European judicial co-operation".
He added that Sweden "emphatically reject the gross accusations that is made against the Swedish judicial system".
Meanwhile, the Organisation of American States called a special meeting at its Washington headquarters on Thursday to discuss the Ecuador-UK relationship, specifically Ecuador's diplomatic premises in the UK.
And the Union of South American Nations - which consists of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname and Uruguay - has convened an "extraordinary meeting" in Ecuador on Sunday to consider "the situation raised at the embassy".

Tia Sharp death: New Addington body formally identified

Tia Sharp A post-mortem test is being carried out on Tia's body
The body of a 12-year-old girl found at a house in south London has been formally identified as Tia Sharp.
Tia's body was discovered by police at her grandmother's house in New Addington last week.
Her grandmother's partner Stuart Hazell, 37, appeared in court on Wednesday charged with her murder.
A formal cause of death could not be established following a post-mortem examination and further tests are awaited, police said.
Second examination Earlier an inquest into Tia's death was opened at South London Coroner's Court but no details about how she died were given in the five minute hearing.
Asked by Coroner Roy Palmer if the body had been formally identified, Det Sgt Eric Sword, of the Metropolitan Police's specialist crime operations unit based at Sutton, said: "From the checks that we have been able to carry out, yes."
"And that body is that of Tia Sharp?" the coroner asked.
"That is correct," he replied.
Dr Palmer told the court that once the post-mortem examination had been completed, Mr Hazell had the right to request a second examination by a pathologist of his choice.
The coroner asked for this to happen as soon as possible so that Tia's body could be released to her family.
Police apology The inquest has been adjourned until a later date.
Mr Hazell was remanded in custody after appearing at the Old Bailey.
He is expected to make a plea on 19 November and a trial date has been set for 21 January.
Mr Hazell's partner Christine Sharp, 46, was arrested on suspicion of murder while her next-door neighbour, Paul Meehan, 39, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both were released on bail on Sunday.
Tia's body was discovered by police on Friday after she had been missing for a week. Police have apologised to Tia's family as her body was not found by officers until after several visits.

Manchester United, Arsenal agree Van Persie deal

Robin van Persie. – Photo by AFP
LONDON: Manchester United said on Wednesday they had agreed a deal to sign Dutch striker Robin van Persie from Premier League rivals Arsenal.
“Manchester United is pleased to announce it has reached agreement with Arsenal Football Club for the transfer of Robin Van Persie,” said a club statement.
“The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms. A further announcement will be made in due course.”
Van Persie stunned Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger when he declared immediately after Euro 2012 that he wanted to leave the north London team because he felt the club’s ambitions did not match his own.
That came after a superb season where the forward scored 37 goals in all competitions, a tally that led him to being voted player of the year by both his fellow professionals in England and the country’s Football Writers’ Association.
Van Persie’s announcement sparked interest from Premier League champions Manchester City, as well as Italian giants Juventus, but it is United manager Alex Ferguson who has won the race for the striker’s coveted signature.
It is not expected either a medical or indeed personal terms will prove a barrier to the 29-year-old’s move to Old Trafford.
No fee has been confirmed by either United or Arsenal, although it has been reported as around the £20million mark.
Provided the deal goes through smoothly, van Persie could make his United debut in their Premier League opener away to Everton on Monday.
The transfer is set to be the most expensive deal United have done since Dimitar Berbatov’s club record £30.75m move from Tottenham in 2008.
Ferguson made van Persie one of his main pre-season targets, despite already having Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez in his squad.
The veteran Scottish boss even went so far as speaking directly to Wenger in a bid to make sure the deal went through.
French boss Wenger did not want to sell prize asset van Persie to a rival Premier League club.
But, with supporters turning against their former favourite during a pre-season match with Cologne on Sunday and van Persie having just a year left on his Gunners contract, he clearly decided it was better to sell him for a large fee than see him leave for nothing in 12 months’ time.
But with van Persie having followed former Arsenal stars Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri — sold to Barcelona and Manchester City respectively last year — out of the Emirates, questions will be asked about Arsenal’s determination to end a seven-year trophy drought.

Cataloging the different ways to Make Money Online
If you perform a basic search on Google, it will reveal many ways to make money online and most of the websites listed in the search results pages seem to focus on the same methods of earning money.
I thought it will be a good idea to categorize and compile a list of the online money making methods available so that future visitors will have a reference point which provides them with all information they need.
This list uses a rather broad categorization, which I believe covers most of the ways to make money online. More methods and examples of how to make money online are added regularly to our list.
1. Set up a Blog or Website for Profit
One of the best ways to earn money online is to create a website or blog which allows you to earn money from the display of advertisements or the sale of products and services.

There are many different types of money making blogs which will help you to make money and you will need to pick a model that suits your interests, schedule and skill levels. A simple no frills blog will allow you to easily pull in at least several hundred dollars in a month through the use of paid blogging websites alone.

For more information, check out webdevelopmentseo's and forumpakistan's archive of articles on how to make money blogging. Apart from blogs, other websites can easily help you to generate passive income as well. These can range from e-commerce websites, social communities and information portals to basic article pages for affiliate programs.

2. Learn about Affiliate Marketing and Art of Selling
This involves promoting a specific product or service and earning commissions whenever the referred user makes a purchase based on your recommendations.

Affiliate marketing is a big and profitable industry that covers a wide spectrum of topics and fields. If you have got an interest in fitness, you can make money promoting fitness videos or courses e.g. videos to loss your weight. In fashion wear, you can earn commissions by recommending friends to clothing or t-shirt of companies which are offering affiliate programs.

The amount of money you make depends on what you are selling. If done correctly, affiliate marketing is one of the most powerful ways to make money from the web. Advertisements.pk, Amazon, commission junction and Click Bank are few biggest affiliate market places that you can use if you are branching out into affiliate marketing.

3. Start an Online Business / Website
Starting your own online business or company allows you to make money off the provision of specific services or products you may have. Some examples of popular online trades include web design, web hosting, online shop to sell your products, copywriting and internet marketing.

It is not difficult to start a business. It is all about hiring the right people or having enough knowledge and connections within a specific industry. You should do some in depth research before you decide to settle on a specific niche for your business. webdevelopmentseo.com is the most reliable company to develope your online business website at very reasonable prices, they also do optimization for your website / online business.

4. Try Out Domaining and the Online Real Estate Trade
This is the business to purchas, sell, develope and making money from domain names. A domainer purchases many domain names and sells these to interested buyers. This is similar to real estate investing offline and domainers also make money by developing websites and reselling it to a buyer.

This practice is known as site flipping and can make you a tidy sum of money if you know how to build an attractive and profitable website. For a rough estimate of how much money you can earn from site flipping, check out the SitePoint Marketplace to browse through the collection of websites for sale.

5. Participate in Surveys
There are hundreds of websites out there which you pay you to do surveys, sign up for trial subscriptions, online data entry. Websites that pay you to complete offers are worth examining because they usually include affiliate programs with recurring commissions to be earned.

The benefit of get paid to websites is that you do not need to have your own website or any personal skills at all. The downside is that there are a lot of get-paid-to scams around and finding websites that are legitimate can be fairly difficult.

There are also many social media websites out there that will pay you to participate in their community. This collection of social media websites usually operate via a revenue-sharing system, which allows you to earn a share of the overall ad revenue. How much you earn depends on how much your submitted article, video etc..
